Of course, I would not post a picture of her in her beautiful dress, all dolled up. It has to be the one taken at the zoo. But that is her, she is not exactly your girly girl.
We spent a bit a time with Dori and the girls. It was great. D and I have now been friends for about 12 years now. Having worked together at
American Clinics International. (voted my best job ever).
We visited the hands on museum, Palace of Wonders, that is where Sophie laid on the bed of nails. I did it to, not as bad as you would think. You lay down first, than turn the handle and the nails pop up. Pretty cool place, in an old factory building, redone. With a beautiful yard and grounds. http://www.alpha2010budapest.org/2010/08/budapest/ We did the museum and than waited for a movie to be shown on the large screen outside. We waited, the movie never started, so we left. Strange, sort of the Hungarian way... when we have we will share it, if not, sorry.
Since we left Budapest back in 2002, Dori and I have not been living on the same continent. However, she has gotten closer, she and her family now live in The Netherlands, just outside The Hague. We did spend some vacations together, like last spring break, we shared some great laughs and memories in London. We have many good memories between us, hopefully our kids (now sisters) will get to have that same opportunity.
